Whether you are a beginner or a twenty year veteran this class is for you. \nBeginners–At the end of the semester you will have an understanding of improv acting\, increased confidence in creating and making choices and have the ability to play with authenticity\, coherence and fun! \nAdvanced Short Form–At the end of the semester you will have an understanding of advanced short form games\, basic rhyming for rap scenes\, and advanced acting work. Laugh Tracks Beginner short form or outside equivalent is required for advanced short form. \nAdvanced Long Form–At the end of the semester you will be able to play with more advanced comedy technique and theory\, consistently improvise scenes that resonate\, delight and build no matter who you play with and more quickly develop\, create and execute a variety of improv forms. \nEveryone–Have a better sense of how teamwork can work for everyone! \nThere will be a performance opportunity on April 30th.  \nNote: This round of classes is every week instead of every other week.  \nCourse Begins March 12 and ends on April 30. You can drop in to each class for $25 for no performance track. Class time: 7-9 PM. $200 for the full eight week program. DESCRIPTION:BREW-HA-HA is a competitive improv tournament powered by Java House. Each show\, four teams will face off in two head-to-head matchups\, with the audience choosing which teams advance. Winners move on to the next round\, so make sure to tell your friends\, family and local clergy to come out to cheer you on! \nSelected teams will play in at least one show with the possibility of up to four if they keep winning. We are capping team size at four per troupe. \nOh\, and did we mention there will be coffee? Improv\, caffeine\, and competition? What’s not to love! \nShow Dates: \n\nMarch 14 (Qualifiers Show 1 Teams 1-4)\nMarch 28 (Qualifiers Show 2 Teams 5-8)\nApril 11 (Qualifiers Show 3 Teams 9-12)\nApril 25 (Qualifiers Show 4 Teams 13-16)\nMay 9 (Quarterfinals Show 1 Winners 1-8)\nMay 23 (Quarterfinals Show 2 Winners 9-16)\nJune 13 (Semifinals)\nJune 27 (Finals)\n\nDeadline to apply is Feb 24.  $20 entry fee.
